We are Asheville’s longest running café, as we first opened our doors on Battery Ave in 1994. Though we have transitioned locations and experienced many challenges, our passion to deliver delicious coffee, impeccable cakes, pastries and traditional Hungarian desserts has never wavered. Having immigrated to America from Hungary, owner, founder and creator of all of our desserts, Melinda Vetro, works passionately and diligently to continue providing a great experience to each person that walks through our doors.
We aim to capture the romantic and wistful cafés only found in Europe, where the perfect pastry or wonderfully pulled shot of espresso is a vacation in and of itself.
